Batshit theory – most of the drums this run have been hidden messages to his wife, like singing Sunshine, which she made their thing because Frank sang it, like she made Superstar their thing when it wasn’t hers to begin with, and she’s watching absolutely everything and having a fit every time fans talk about Frank or he goes near him, especially if they make any assumptions about Sunshine because it is THEIRS why are the fans such shit. So never mind the effort it took everyone but her to get Gerard looking alive again and whatever happened last fall, it’s all about her, the band and fans are merely parasites feeding off his inherent greatness, and you won’t see Gerard acknowledging Frank’s existence… unless, of course, he trying to prove someone wrong.
Enjoy the setlists. Go see them if possible. Because I still think they are done after this tour.
